The Naked Feel Cushion is our unique soft feel extra tacky grip, specifically designed to ensure maximum grip and control whilst maintaining a soft and extra-grippy touch. If you prefer more grip and padding than a chamois, then this is the grip for you.

It's used by some of the game's top players in all conditions and is the perfect accompaniment to your Naked stick. As they say, "Power is nothing without control".

How to Apply

Start at the top of your stick and holding it tightly, wrap around and down to make a 2-3 mm overlap per rotation. Secure at the bottom with the supplied tape or some zinc tape.

How often should I replace it?

Top players replace their grip weekly. If you aren't playing as much, one a month will be enough.

Here are a few ways to help you choose your stick length:

To measure a child hold the hockey stick at their side. It should be just under their belly button.
If you can't decide between two sizes, consider your child’s position. Defenders sometimes prefer a longer stick for a longer reach in tackling and better power when slapping. A shorter stick improves stick handling skills so could be considered for more attacking players.
Once a young person reaches the age of approximately 13 they will be in a full size stick ie 36.5”/37.5" (5 f 3”), so you do not need to measure the stick to your hip or belly button once you reach this height.
The majority of hockey players in Australasia use a 37.5” stick.
